Produced exclusively from the Syrah variety, it reveals the enormous potential of this variety in a special and challenging climate that only Serpa provides.
Fermented under modern conditions of temperature control and prevention of oxidation, this Sauvignon Blanc is a classic example of the variety. The wine shows a very typical varietal aroma of melon, grapefruit and herbal notes. It is richly textured on the palate with a complex blend of lively acidity and mouth watering flavours. The crisp and bright finish recommends the wine for accompaniment with all varieties of shellfish.

Citrine straw with greenish reflections. Very elegant with notes of linden, lemon balm and orange blossom married with nuances of white flesh fruits, flanked by delicate citrus and balsamic expressions
In the mouth it is intense and enveloping, with flavors that can be guessed on the nose, a fatty and smooth texture, and a very lively acidity that provides a long and refreshing aftertaste.
Sauternes is obtained thanks to the action of a microscopic fungus (Botrytis cinerea) that appears on the vines around September as a result of the microclimate of the Sauternes region (located about 40 km from Bordeaux).
With this project the Oriente Foundation preserves a heritage with eight centuries of history and contributes decisively to the birth of the excellence of wine of colares.
