Produced exclusively from the Syrah variety, it reveals the enormous potential of this variety in a special and challenging climate that only Serpa provides.
Sweet and fruity, with aromas of grilled pineapple, honey-soaked pears and fresh melon. Notes of cut grass, hay and ripe mango, too ? very appetising. Soft, silky mouthfeel, with plenty of pineapple and mango up front, followed by honey, banana and toffee, with some dried-fruit and vanilla richness. Very approachable, but still decent levels of complexity. Soft and fruity, with the raisin and honey notes lingering the most.

Aromatic and lively, aromas of vanilla and spice evocative of dried clove and chai are layered on a base of earthly, malty undertones reminiscent of Balvenie’s own barley loft.
Clear, golden color. The nose is characteristically Lagavulin with the sweet smoke that explodes on the nose with a little more brine than the other expressions.
