Produced exclusively from the Syrah variety, it reveals the enormous potential of this variety in a special and challenging climate that only Serpa provides.
Limited edition, elaborated from a singular caste that a few years ago was in the process of extinction. The Moscatel Roxo variety is a rare breed, known for producing one of the best Portuguese liqueurs. Its purple color and its small berry distinguish this caste from the Moscatel variety of Setúbal. This special caste gives the wine intense floral notes, making it unique, fresh, with an excellent minerality and a long finish.

In the mouth it is intense and enveloping, with flavors that can be guessed on the nose, a fatty and smooth texture, and a very lively acidity that provides a long and refreshing aftertaste.
In the excellent conditions of the vineyards on the Setúbal Peninsula, the Portuguese varieties Fernão Pires and Arinto combine perfectly with Chardonnay from clay-limestone soils.
The creation of great wine is an art that owes as much to man as to nature. At Quinta do Rol, the wines created by the Atlantic on clay-limestone soil are shaped by man, over time.
