Produced exclusively from the Syrah variety, it reveals the enormous potential of this variety in a special and challenging climate that only Serpa provides.
This wine comes back to an old family tradition of constituting a reserve, obtained exclusively from grapes of the Antão Vaz grape, from the vineyards of Monte da Ribeira, in the region of Vidigueira. It has aromas of tropical fruits, spices and vanilla. It is velvety and unctuous, has a balanced acidity and soft and silky tannins from the oak barrels, where it fermented and staged.
In the mouth it is intense and enveloping, with flavors that can be guessed on the nose, a fatty and smooth texture, and a very lively acidity that provides a long and refreshing aftertaste.
Boal is one of the oldest ad most traditional grape varieties in the region. This noble variety resilts in wines of great aomatic complexity, integrating fruit notes with oak nuances, a result of its ageing in barriques.
